Jacksonville-based artist/music & TV producer Dez Nado released a packed remix to his regionally acclaimed “Flawda Ish” single, which he debuted earlier this spring and has since received support from household names such as Miami-native and VH1 TV star Trina, radio stations who’ve given the single national airplay including the DJ of global icon Pitbull’s Sirius XM platform, WLDI (95.5), WIIT (88.9), WHYI (100.7), WKNC (88.1), KCEZ (102.1), KWLP (100.9), and WRUW (91.1) among others after charting top 25 for a full month as an urban mix show priority on CICANA, 3 months on digitaldjpool.com, and top 25 adult contemporary on global industry reporter PlayMPE alongside major industry acts from Def Jam, Universal, and Verve/Republic Records.
The single earned several highly positive reviews from blogs like AllHipHop.com, Ratingsgamemusic.com, Cultgateway who called the track the “hottest hip hop track of the spring”, DailyMusicSpin who labeled Flawda Ish a “certified banger”, Canvas Rebel, and Florida-based Muzique Magazine. Since its release, the track has earned over 100K streams on major streaming platforms, the official music video has over 17K views on YouTube as of November 2022, and after receiving over a quarter-million plays on mixtapes in collaboration with global mixtape syndicate Mixtape Monopoly, Dez seeks to duplicate the success and popularity of Flawda Ish with the new remix—which puts a fresh spin on the Pretty Ricky classic and features Florida heavyweights Ice Berg, known for his 2000s-2010s run with Trick Daddy’s Dunk Riders and songs like “Stick Drill”, and “Naked Hustle”, and former Jeezy label-mate Blood Raw, known best from songs like “Corporate Thuggin’”, “Keep It Gangsta”, and New York legend Jadakiss’ “Something Else” which also features Jeezy and a host of others. The Flawda Ish remix also features Dez flexing his lyrical muscle a bit more than he did on the OG version of the track and fellow Jacksonville rappers LdotG and Ty Watcher as J Chat returns to deliver the hook.
Dez is hitting the road this fall/winter and featuring up-and-coming talent on the current seasons of both of his TV shows (“My Life & Grind” and “LIVE from New Jax City”) while capturing his life and grind from his own perspective for a new season to come in late 2022/early 2023. He’s also promoting his latest single “Flawda Ish” as a part of his upcoming mixtape album “LPYH SSNZ: Twerk Tape”, a twist on/celebration of Twerk culture that was preceded by a mixtape entitled “LPYH SSNZ: 90s Tape” (pronounced Logophilia Sessions: Nineties Tape; a themed mixtape with songs inspired by popular trends of the 1990s) which dropped Valentine’s weekend 2020. The LPYH SSNZ mixtape album series will also include another music project to be released next fall—inspired by popular trends from the 80s, and other mixtapes in the series counting down to what Dez anticipates being his final solo rap project, a major LP finale: LPYH (LogophiliYaH) in 2024 which will feature several “surprises”, according to him.
Dez Nado’s “Shoot Ya Shot” album preceded the 90s Tape and has, since its release, crossed half a million streams on major streaming platforms–right on time for the summer hit “Flawda Ish” and the unofficial Florida Classic weekend/holiday season/Duval Trap Gala-Sagittarius Bash anthem to take the spotlight until his next single release leading up to the Twerk Tape’s release; the single is expected to be a “return to [his] Jamaican and Panamanian roots with a more Caribbean feel”.

Indie Florida rapper/TV producer Dez Nado is back with a celebratory fall anthem called "Lituation" The track features a classic throwback vibe-- just like the whole LPYH SSNZ: The 90s Tape album, this track pays tribute to what Dez called the "greatest era of music" (The 90s). The concept behind the song is basically a celebration, and Dez brings some fellow artists along for the ride including Bridget J. and Charlie Bravo, who are co-hosts on a regional TV series he produces, Kay Bee, and K Lub.
"...in times like these when celebrating doesn't even look the same as it did a year ago, when there are aren't really many things to celebrate, now is when we have to adapt to a new norm, appreciate what we do have and make the most of it. That's really what the song is about, finding a way to celebrate through all the b.s., whether or not your favorite candidate wins in November, whether or not everybody you know makes it through this pandemic (prayerfully they do), whether or not things get better (we hope they do). There's no homecomings this year, no football Classics, so we gotta make whatever the situation is an opportunity to turn it to a Lituation. Tomorrow isn't promised, so live it up...safely of course"
The New Single release coincides with the announcement of a new concept event collaboration to be held Friday December 18, 2020-- SAGITTARIUS BASH 2020: Duval Trap Gala is a celebration of trap music and its place in hip hop culture. As we celebrate the 2020 edition of the BET Hip Hop Awards, with Jacksonville's own LIVE FROM NEW JAX CITY being named official media partners for the third year, where artists like T.I., Trae Tha Truth, Future, Megan Thee Stallion, Mulatto, Roddy Ricch, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, and many others who could be considered Trap Music Hall of Famers will be gracing the screens, it seems fitting to close out the year with Jacksonville's own official trap music celebration, which will also celebrate Dez Nado's birthday and all other Sagittarius birthdays with free toasts/shots every hour on the hour, along with catered dinner provided by Trap House Chicken (THC), a Trap Kings & Queens Fashion Show coordinated by Candice Alvita production featuring looks by Elle Paush Customs, drinks mixed by Stellas Bartending, music by DJ Gitt (who is also a Sagittarius), hosted by Miss Ciara EventPlanner formerly of Team Bigga Rankin, and featuring performances from Dez Nado and others, the event is sure to be one to remember. Fresh off a successful #JaxSummerFest2019, VIPSquad ENT in collaboration with Cultures Clash and ADUH Clothing along with Get Candid Studios is happy to bring back SAUCY SUNDAYS starting October 6th and going to December 8th. Saucy Sundays is a monthly party/showcase event offering yet another platform for regional businesses and talent in the NE Florida/SE Georgia area to shine and connect with potential consumers along with national/visiting businesses & talent. The original re-launch date was labor day weekend 2019, but due to Hurricane Dorian we were forced to reschedule to the second planned Saucy Sundays date, October 6th, the perfect recovery date for those coming down from #BETHipHopAwards weekend in Atlanta, FAMU Homecoming weekend in Tallahassee, and those warming up for #A3C in Atlanta and HU Homecoming weekned in D.C. Our headliner will be the Island Powerhouse Band, a Jax-based Caribbean band comprised of Caribbean natives and 2nd Gen Caribbean Americans, some of whom originate from the Bahamas who were affected directly by Hurricane Dorian. For that reason, we decided to partner with them to accept supply donations to assist our brethren and sistren in and around Abaco, Bahamas. Freestyle Filez, which is for promotional use only and protected by fair use copyright laws, is the second mixtape series produced by VIPSquad DJs, a music group under Dez Nado's VIPSquad Entertainment. The mixtape series is less party-based than the more commercial Florida's Finest mixtape series and is more focused on celebrating the art form of hip hop, lyricism, and production, in addition to exclusive freestyles and heavy-hitting, bar for bar tracks from indie and major artists.
